Good Car Radio/DVD/GPS Unit?
« on: March 05, 2010, 01:23:48 pm »
Any suggestions on a good car double din head unit that also has DVD and GPS?  I am not looking for some $300 turd.  A real nice unit, but not carzy $2000 nice.  Say in the $700-$1500 range.

I have been out of the audio game so long I don't know what is current.

I currently run a carpc and that does everything u want and more

You can buy a double din headunit with touchscreen and pc built into it then u just have to load the software yourself.

Check out www.mp3car.com if your interested in making it yourself if not then i can't recommend any as most things i have are diy

We have a 2009 Chrysler mini-van that has a MyGig touchscreen unit in it.  I dont think the DVD meets your needs with out purchasing the 3rd party wiring harness.  I'm not even sure if you can buy the unit retail.  Just throwing it out there....
