Dvd to xvid - good Linux App?
« on: March 01, 2010, 05:12:14 am »
Can anyone recommend a decent Linux app for converting dvd to xvid?
I'm looking for something similar to AutoGK (dead simple and, if necessary, easy to override input aspect ratio and set stand-alone compatibility (ess, etc). If it'll do the ripping too, it would be a bonus.
In a quick search, I've seen mention of K9copy, OGMrip, and handbrake (which may not support .avi anymore?).
Anyone have personal experience with these or others?
