Tips & Tricks Magazine

Remember back in the day when this magazine was good.. before they started putting out just code books..  before the internet came along.  They had this really cool arcade coverage section with cheat codes I always used to read.  I remember back in 96' I went to Disneyland with my elementary school (field trip) and we all went into the arcade next to the Space Mountain ride,  I jumped on the Alpine Surfer snowboarding game and put in the code to play as a penguin instead of a snowboarder.  Before I knew it there was a huge crowd behind me of parents and kids cheering, laughing, rooting, and fist pumping the air for me everytime the penguin would go off a jump and do a funny trick. (gotta love those 90s fist pumps)  When I finished the course everyone started clapping and a bunch of kids rushed me asking me how I did the code, even kids that didn't go to my school.  I just laughed and didn't tell.  It was the best arcade moment for me growing up and I owe it all to this magazine.. R.I.P.

ps.  I heard Larry Flynt bought them out then immediately shut them down.. :lame:
