That sux, but reminds me....
I used to install home theaters and whole house sound in huge rich people's houses. They used to spend $50 - $200k just on sound/theater.
These houses had the best materials in them, there wasn't a 2x4 framed wall in any of them, all 2x6 and 2x8 framing, 12" oc none of this 16" oc that the common man's houses had. Made it real fun drilling holes to pull wires. But I digress...
They also never had sheetrocked walls, they used blue board and plaster, makes for the flattest, smoothest walls and ceilings I have ever seen.
So one day we were in the attic pulling wire, and we didn't know this but downstairs in the 3 story foyer the homeowner, contractor and architect were going over the house.
The guy I was working with was pulling wire above the foyer and both his feet went through the ceiling. He was hanging there up to his waist. The contractor tells us that the architect said to the home owner, "I assure you that wasn't in my blue prints and we'll have that taken care of, no charge." lol
My boss had to eat a significant portion of his profit on that job. And it was a good thing the framing was 12" oc because he might of went all the way to the marble floor otherwise.
