 ???

I am currently gathering some emu's for my cab, and the lastest I am playing with is FCE Ultra. A search through this forum and the net, shows it to be one of the best nes emu's.

Anyway, how the heck do you get it to start up (from the command line) in fullscreen mode. I have searched the net, searched this forum, read the readme file etc ... I just can't figure it out.

I tried setting to fullscreen once running, then exiting, but it then starts up windowed !

Its probably an extremely simple thing ... that I am just missing.

Cheers for any help.

 ;)

Open FCEUltra.
Go to Config Menu, then Video...
Check the box which says "Enter Full Screen Mode after File is Loaded"

DOH ! I think I need glasses ! I had used the tick box right above that one, but didn't notice it.

Thanks for that.

You should also check out VirtuaNES.  Once you use it I can pretty much guarantee that you will switch to it and loose FCEUltra.  VirtuaNES is super configurable and perfect for an arcade cabinet.
