Artwork sugestions for a framed glass bezel
« on: February 16, 2010, 05:37:33 pm »
I was given an original centipede glass bezel, similar to http://www.arcadeshop.com/pics/centipede-ur-bezel.jpg

I was thinking of having it framed and inserting some kind of artwork inside.

I was thinking either a game screen shot, or some original artwork or some atari arcade character collage.

Any suggestions?  Place where I can find artwork large enough to have printed and look sharp?

Thanks!

I was thinking about that...
I don't really want to buy the original, but I was able to google some photo's of that.

I like your original thought on placing an image of the game in action inside.
Galaga... Was there any other game?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Have a screenshot printed on backlit material, like for a marquee, and build a light box a few inches deep and hang it on the wall. You could even get a reproduction marquee done and install it above the bezel.
