Jamma 6-In-1 Switcher Mod Tutorial
« on: June 22, 2009, 09:09:17 pm »
Hey guys. I thought I'd help anyone who has or is getting one of these 6-in-1 Jamma switchers and needs to do the -5vdc and/or service menu modifications. Here are some pics and videos on how to do everything. Any questions, feel free to ask...(sorry for the bad pics, but that's as clear as I can get. My camera doesn't do so well close up..)

great video I have kI1 KI2 , mortal kombat 2, 3 and nba jam all midway I would like to get a 6 in 1 and now I know how to get the -5v to the sound boards.  but also the extra kick harnesses have to also be installed from board to board, and I've read that you also need diodes how are these diodes installed from jumper to jumper so that all buttons work and no feedback where the buttons seem always pressed, and is there a kick harness dual adapter or do I have to splice into existing wires and buy extra kick harnesses.

You need a kick harness for every pcb you are going to use. You have to install a diode on every wire with the line facing toward the button like this...
