Mine doesn't even have artwork on the CPO yet. I will need to do quite a bit of work on it, but it should turn out pretty nice. I have some extra pedal and steering parts, so I am going to mix and match to try and make them really nice. What did you use to shine up the steering columns again? I think I may copy you on that, they just look really nice.

I will try to call for a quote on the glass on Monday, I was out in the garage playing.  Grin
It is nice to be able to play it so soon, but the cost of yours is pretty hard to beat.
Is the pedal panel just supposed to sit in front of it? I don't see any way to mount it.
I have the same gap between the monitor and bezel that you have.

Here is what I am starting with:

Hey Paul your game looks better and may actually WORK, but I'd like to bet your pedal panel doesn't look THIS GOOD!  Smiley
Let me know if you need me to explain any of the dimentions to you....

Thanks for adding the pics. And no, my pedal panel doesn't look any where near that good. I am not even sure if I have the patience to make them look that good, but I will give it a shot.

ALL BOW DOWN TO TARMAN!!!  We're not worthy!

Quick update, been working slow on this project. Got the Pedal Panel looking awesome and it is completed except for the one Poteniometer. The Steering wheel Panel looks and the mechanic are all working 100%!! Just awaiting the CPO to be completed. Got the coin door off and the rust and old paint stripped, it is in primer now, I'm going to work more on it tomorrow. I'll try and add a couple new pics tomorrow.

Tarman - great work on the side art!

Matt, do you still need a pot for one of your pedals? I should have an extra working one in my pile of parts.

OK, sorry I have put this off so long!!
I am reviving this sucker!!  Smiley  I need to find one major thing! WHERE ON EARTH can I find a 25 WG K7107!?!?
What other games did this chasis come in? I've been cruising Ebay for this sucker for months, with NO LUCK!
Other than that, thing thing is ready to go. I still need a board but I was able to test my steering wheel Huh CP on a friends machine a week ago. WORKED LIKE A CHARM! In fact it was better than his! I'm hoping Tarman is still helping me out with the artwork, and I've found the black laminate and I'm ready to roll!!
My biggest hang up is that stupid 7107!!!  Will any chasis do? Or do I have to have a 7107?!?
Huh Help me get this stupid project done already!!

Hey Zork Tarman got the CPO yesterday so the artwork should be ready pretty soon.

If you're looking for another monitor I can sell mine.

What are you going to do for a monitor? Is there anything wrong with it? How much? Also, I've been super busy, havn't had a chance to take that pedal apart yet to get that  pic for you. Embarrassed
I'll try and get it to you tomorrow......

Awesome job! I love this game. Since I couldn't find one of this in my area, I'm creating a mame cab with wheels and everything that I'm hoping will resemble this pretty closely. I would LOVE to know the dimensions of your Pedal base. As I pretty much want to buy something exactly like that.

Also, I cannot quite figure this out. Do the pedals use potentiometers, or are they micro switch based?

Thanks in advance!

Kronic, I took some pics tonight, but they ended up so blurry, that I scrapped them, I'll retry again tomorrow.
I got the dimentions, it is 39" across at the back of the foot pedal CP, take a look at the pics in this thread, there are quite a few of that CP.

Nope it's a perfect monitor.  I don't know how much their worth and then shipping, so I have no idea.  Let me know.

Stealthie, could you check with a couple different shippers? And get a quote on price to ship it to Ohio? All I REALLY need are the boards, It couldn't cost THAT much to just ship those? I don't really have to have the tube.

Before you go parting a complete working monitor, ZORK2, have you asked in KLOV forums, or RGVAC?

TARMAN! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!!  Grin

I am going to place an order with twisted quarter soon, the black laminate for the cab is on the list!! Been waiting for the side art and CPO to get finished before I place my order......

In the mean time,
Here are the pics I promised Kronic......
Stealthie, I am pointing directly to the piece I need!! It is attatched to the poteniometer that I also need! As you can see mine is paper cliped to the pedal!

SirPeale, your right, I'll keep an eye out for a local board, it just stinks, its been 6 months, I've been cruising the forums, and ebay, nothing has been quite right just yet!??!! If you see something out there, send me an IM and I'll check it out!!

You may have to actually ask instead of waiting for someone to post one.

Got it.  I will send the pot and arm out to you this weekend.

About the monitor, it would be best to try and find the part you need and to keep mine whole.  Yes check on KLOV, I'm sure you could find one.

I'm excited for the CPO to be done.  There are a few people on KLOV that are looking for new art, so this should make a few people happy.

Thanks ZORK! I'll have to figure out how to deal with that issue ... hmmm ... the ones I had my eye on use micro-switches.

Great restoration work!

I also bought an Off-Road. It was in excellent condition. Very lucky find.

Let me know if there is anything you need to help!

Do you still need info about that metal piece between the control panel and the monitor glass?

Keep up the great work!

TARMAN! YOU ROCK!!  We're not worthy!
Starting to get motivated on this project again!
I picked up a nice looking WG K7000 for a reasonable price today. Also got a power supply with iso trans ready to hook up! Stay tuned, hope to start making some progress again on this soon!!
