Who are the folks submitting projects on front page?
« on: June 29, 2003, 07:00:02 pm »
I only ask because their names aren't in the message blurbs and it's usually not on the websites - would be nice to know who to send the good words to and all.

EDIT:  Admins/Mods: any chance of this being added in the posted news?

I believe frosty is looking for a correlation between the folks he "sees" posting here regularly or semi-regularly (or at all) and their submitted projects. i.e. he'd like people to mention their byoac handle somewhere on their page or more importantly on their submitted blurb.

ex:  Rampy's Ubercade
Frostillicius' Fancy Pants Rotating Mega 2 Piece Cabinet o' Doom

(sometimes they just say "classicab" or "blah blah cab" and never know it's sirpoonga's or whoever's... ) *shrug*

That's why it's a good idea to post both in the project annoucement and the main stie submission I guesss... and once you finish your cab put your url in your profile or sig here... *shrug*

or am I off the mark there, as to what you meant, frosty?

Yes the folks submitting projects on the front news page.  Instead of "the author had this to say..." perhaps it could read "<insert BYOAC name here>  had this to say..."

Rampy - yes, you got it exactly.  The last two submissions are rather mysterious, for example.

well i made
New project - mame
Added mame to the examples page.
The author had this to say about their project:

I MADE THIS IT HAS A 1.3GHZ AMD 128MB OF RAM 40GB HD 20" TV IT HAS 2 HACKED PSX CONTROLLERS
This makes 679 projects in the new database so far!
