This is my FREE parts post for the weekend of 03/15/08 - 03/16/08. BYOAC members only!
Since this is doing so well each weekend, I’ve decided to keep offering up freebies. This is mostly a repeat of last week, with the exception of a few items I removed and at least two new items which I just added: the Atari logo joystick plunger and pivot ball, both of which are much needed parts. Both of these items are reproduction parts I’ve made.
All of the below items are free to anyone here on BYOAC. All you have to do is PM me with your request before any given item is depleted. And when I say free, I really mean FREE. I'm not asking for nor will I accept shipping money or donations for these items. Just pick ONE item from the list below and PM me immediately. This offer is only good for the weekend listed above. After that, I'm back to work on various projects here at RAM Controls.
Let's start off with some chips.
ER2055 EAROM (non-volatile memory chip used on pretty much every classic Atari board - crosses to NC7055 - hard to find now)
Z80CTC (this is a common Z80 support chip used on all of the Bally/Midway MCR series boards - tron, discs of tron, tapper, timber, spy hunter, etc)
TMS5200NL (speech chip used on a bunch of pinballs)
TMS5220CNL (speech chip used on a lot of classic Atari boards - Gauntlet, Star Wars, etc)
AY-3-8910 (sound chip used on Bally/Midway MCR series boards and more!)
SN76489AN (sound chip used on something, but I forgot what. LOL)
TDA1004 (sound amplifier chip used on most of the old Atari B&W games - this one is extremely RARE!!!)
MB3730 (sound amplifier chip used on Bally/Midway stuff...Galaga comes to mind.)
LM379S (sound amplifier device used on Q*bert and others like it - this is is very RARE!!!)
I'll give ONE piece of ONE of the above part numbers to the first TEN people who PM me.
Here’s the last of the chip items:
AM6012PC DACs (used on a heap of old Atari vector boards)
AD561JD DACs (used on Asteroids boards)
MC1495L (used on pretty much ALL of the Atari vectors)
These are somewhat expensive parts (and hard to find). I'll give a couple pieces of ONE of the above part numbers to the first FIVE people who PM me.
Ok, on to non-chip items I think people here may like:
LogoStick Pivot Ball – (this is a reproduction item I've made and it is used in all of the Atari logo stick types: 720, assault, hall effect, etc).
Logostick Plunger – (this is a reproduction item I've made and it is used in all of the Atari logo stick types: assault, hall effect, etc).
HAPP 3" trackball roller kit - (this is a reproduction item I've made)
HAPP 2.25" trackball roller kit - (this is a reproduction item I've made)
SW Yoke Rubber Bumper Kit (4pcs) - (this is a reproduction item I've made)
SW Yoke Thumb Button Kit (2pcs) - (this is a reproduction item I've made)
Atari Tall Black Button Cone kit (3pcs) - (this is a reproduction item I've made, hard black anodized)
Atari Short Black Button Cone kit (3pcs) - (this is a reproduction item I've made, hard black anodized)
Atari Short Silver Button Cone kit (3pcs) - (this is a reproduction item I've made)
Each of the roller kits include two encoder shafts and one idler shaft - NEW PARTS. Since these items weigh more than the chips, I'm limiting how many I'll give away. I'll give ONE item from the above list to the first FIVE people who PM me.

Ok, that's it for this weekend. I hope you guys find something you can use.
Remember, only choose ONE item from the above list.
Again, there's NO need to send me ANY money for these, I'll cover shipping. Don't even worry about making the gesture as it's not at all necessary.
I'm trying to help people who may NEED this stuff to work on their existing project games, so if you don't need anything presented here, leave it for someone who does.
I possess an immense selection of parts, but this is all I can come up with for this weekend. PM me if you have any other requests. I'll try to help if I can. I'm only taking requests for the above items TODAY and TOMORROW. After that, I'm back to work on the controller projects.
I will try to make this a weekly thing, at least until I run out of stamps (I've got a few rolls left of 33 cent, 37 cent and 39 cent stamps).
ENJOY
