MaLa help - vertical and horizontal listings
« on: January 01, 2008, 10:52:03 pm »
Hi guys

For my cab project, I've decided to separate the games into two separate lists, one for vertical games and one for horizontal games.

As things stand now, I've found the setting in MaLa (or is it in the mame.ini file?) that makes each vertical game 'rotate' so that it fills the whole arcade screen. But my vertical list in MaLa is still a 'horizontal' screen.

What setting is it to make that entire games list be vertical / portrait?

My ultimate aim with my software setup is to have the two game lists, and when you switch from horizontal to vertical games, or back again, it will trigger a screen rotation and rotate the orientation of the MaLa menu (and also the corresponding games when launched, obviously).

So, does someone know the setting in MaLa to allow this?

Cheers,
David.

ps Happy New Year to everyone!
