Centipede Style CP *HELP Needed*

I am working on a Centipede style bartop.  Does anyone have the artwork in vector form?  If you do could you send me a copy.  I would like to make some changes to the CP to fit in the controls I am using.

I did look there earlier but there there no side art and the marquee is incomplete.  I was wondering if anyone who got in on one of the CAG purchases could help me out.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I know little to nothing about computer art.  Will this raster file scale down nicely or is it a pain?  I tried to play around with the CP artwork using Illustrator but as I know nothing about the software it was like pulling hen's teeth.

My CP is 16" wide, the top is about 7" deep and the front is about 3.5".  If anyone would like to take a stab at whipping something up for me there is a link to the bartop in my sig below.

as long as you want to scale down, raster artwork may be usable, you will loose some definition and some details.

I am trying to take a stab at the CP artwork but I am running into some issues.  The file I am working with is 8.29" in width.  When I try to enlarge it to 16" I loose some of the line widths.  I'd also like to move the two mushrooms out to where the trackball and joystick are going to be.  However I have some issues with the green and white lines that move up into them.  Below is a jpg of what I have so far.  If anyone would like to take and help out I have also attached the illustrator file in a zip.  Let me know if you are going to work on it.  This way we don't mess up what the other person has done.

Need more details brotha. Where are you wanting the joystick and trackballs if you move the mushrooms? Can you do a mock up with some pseudo controls in paint or something?

Here is one from CP Sketcher.  The trackball is a Beston 3".  The two buttons in the upper right will be the player 1 & 2 start buttons.  I don't know if I want to put the NavaGemCDR on the center of the front or the bezel. near the start buttons.  I did another 2 hours of work on the artwork tonight while the girls had their voice lessons so below is the current version.  This is closer to what I was thinking about but you are welcome to start from the first version and work you way up to something like this.  It night not be a bad idea at that.  I used a lot of covering blocks and copy/paste to extend the starburst.

edit...  Since you know the cab that I am working on I got exact measurements of the cp for you.  from the top edge to the front hinge is 10.25"  From the top edge to the joint between the top and front is 7".  The CP is 16" wide.  I hope that helps.

What I still love about centipede is both the cone buttons and the player 1/player 2 graphics. Think there is room to work them in? These guys:

I don't have the funds to do the cone buttons and I already have the standard Happ start buttons on hand.  I haven't drilled the CP yet so there is still room for adjustment.  I don't plan on cutting holes until the artwork is final.  I have got to start the paint soon though I don't want to run out of time.

There should be room for the novagem on the front because the action buttons are in the center of the CP plan.  I also put the face of the novagem against the CP front and it just fits between the curves at the top and bottom.

Were you planning on doing something with the artwork?  I won't have any time tonight so you are welcome to it.

I just realized I have only about 3 weeks left to get this cab done for Father's day.  I need some help to finish off the CP artwork.  Part of the problem is that I am unfamiliar with the software and the rest is the time constraint.  Money is tight so I can't afford to pay anyone to finish it up.  Nor can I afford to send it to MameMarquees for printing like I should.  I still have to finish painting the cab, setting up the PC and mounting it all.  To top it all off the wife unit is quietly stewing about other things that need done around the house.

I know that it sounds like I am begging but my back is against the wall here and this is one deadline I would rather not get pushed back.

Ok, you guys have me begging now.  Somebody please help with my CP artowrk.  I don't want to end up pulling the trigger of cutting holes in the CP prior to having the artwork done.  I'll even take some assistance with the hard parts of scaling and printing over IM.  I am close enough to call it done if I can get around those two hurdles.  It would have to be in the evenings though as I can't do anything on it at work.

Since nobody had time to help me out of my self imposed jam I persevered and came up with a 'final' version that I could live with.  Enlarging this to a full 16x11 made several of the lines loose proportion in relationship with the rest of the artwork.  It took several hours of time to get the lines extended and thickened to match the scale of the drawing.

The joystick will be on the left and the trackball on the right.  I printed it off onto four sheets of photo paper and after it dried I sprayed them with two coats of clear to protect the ink.  I also printed a B&W version to get my holes marked for drilling.  I have most of the holes cut all I need to do is cut for the trackball and decide where to put the start buttons.  After I get the artwork cut and assembled I will mount it on the CP with a spray adhesive and add another two coats of clear.
