I recently bought a large lot of trackballs.  It's more than I need.  Any interest in them?  Open to trades, for mame related items.  Can always use ipacs and spinners, but open to offers.

They are Betson Imperial 3" out of Golden Tee's.  Good condition.  I Have a mouse hack floating around somewhere, if I can find it, I'll make a plug so I can test the optics, if there's interest in these.  I have a lot, don't know how many I am looking to get rid of, maybe about 10 or 15.

I don't know.  I think I have seen them sell for $30 used, plus actual shipping.  Give me a day or two to take pics, and find that mouse hack.

Re: FS/FT Betson Imperial trackballs, (used) (LI, NY) PICS & TESTED
« Reply #6 on: February 16, 2007, 09:27:11 pm »
I cleaned and tested 4 of them. They were in good condition to start with, just a little dusty. The balls cleaned easily with just dish soap and water.  They are white, not faded or yellowed at all.  I oiled all bearings and they all spin easily.  I spun all the rollers with steel wool and a drill, they look like new.  If you look closely and the light shines the right way some just barely show signs of wear.  I mean JUST BARELY.  I tested all the all of them with a ps2 mouse hack, and they all worked smoothly in all directions.  All have Golden Tee 6 pin plug and ground wire.  They all work excellently.  I will sell these first 4 for $30 each plus shipping.  On my scale they weigh just under 2lbs, so with a box and some peanuts or whatever I guess 3lbs to ship.  I have more, just only cleaned and tested these 4.  (Had to make a-friggen-nother mouse hack, as organization is not one of my skills.)

Sorry for the grain, pics are from my cell.  That white line on the roller LOOKS worse than it is.  Like I said, if anyone isn't happy, send it back and I will refund the purchase price.

Depending on how my finances are this pay period, I might take one of those off of your hands. I currently have a BI that I'm not particularly happy with, because it doesn't roll particularly smooth and it makes lots of noise when it rolls.

He said $30 plus shipping on 2 lbs.
This is a pretty good deal. Those things look to be in great shape.

$30 plus exact shipping on 3lbs.  The trackball weighs JUST UNDER 2lbs.  With a box and some packing it weighs about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4lbs and obviously even a fraction of an oz over 2lbs counts as 3.

They roll very smoothly.  To me, I don't think they make any more noise than a new happ.  The rollers are like new, and the bearings spin freely.  Besides, you can't beat a money back guarantee.  My ebay ID is steve_jt.  100% positive feedback, 220 of them in the last few years.  I have also sold a few things here.  I am in the good sellers thread, though not everyone posts in it, (I myself being guilty too).

A few people said they might be interested.  If anybody tries to contact me, I will be out of town for a few days.  I will get back to them as soon as I get back.

I just got back from vacation.  I had a bunch of people send PM's about shipping prices.  I will get back to all of you as soon as I can with exact prices.

I just sent out some shipping quotes.  For US, (lower 48 states), I will ship any amount for $5.  For over seas, I will send out several for the shipping price of one.  You can get shipping quotes at usps.com shipping FROM 11705.  Figure trackballs at 3Lbs EACH.

I currently have 15 I am planning on selling, with 5 spoken for.  I might put up more, but I have to test/inspect them first.

I got my trackball yesterday.  Ordered Sunday night, shipped Monday, arrived yesterday.

I haven't gotten a chance to hook it up, I need to do a mouse hack, but it was clean and in good condition (just a little play in the trackball.)

Glad every one is happy with them.  Verry sorry the few PM's it took a while to get back to.  I have a small home improvement company and after a slow winter, I always have to work a lot more in the spring when it picks up.  Thanks everyone for the business.  A few more people asked via PM, but I haven't  had time to test anymore yet.  I dont want to sell them untested or without checking the rollers.  I will post as soon as I have time to check some more, hopefully by this weekend.

Hi all. If anyone is still interested, I should have some more cleaned and tested by this weekend.  I Just returned all PM's.  Not ignoring anyone, just busy working.  This is just a hobby, it doesn't pay the bills.  I did make sure everyone was happy with their orders before I stopped checking in here.
