FS: Working Atari System 1 Roadblasters machine [Columbus, OH]
« on: November 16, 2006, 02:01:36 pm »
Hey folks.

I've got a 100% working RoadBlasters machine that needs to go. $100.00

Pics can be found HERE.

Good monitor with minor burn-in, I've routed power through a new power supply instead of thru the Sound card, and the machine works wonderfully.  The main CPU board is a Marble Madness board, so it can handle two trackballs if you want to put an MM kit into it.

It's missing the front left panel over the electronics area, the coin mechanisms, and the lock on the coin door,  but those are easily replaced.  There are some minor dings and scratches, but nothing huge.

The steering wheel is in great condition and works 100%.  The non-slip sticker on the pedal is peeling, but again it works 100%.

I've replaced the speakers, the power cord, and hand-made a brand new bezel for the monitor.

Unfortunately I don't have room for it any more so it's yours if you want it.

If anyone want to take the whole machine, Great.

If no one wants the whole thing, I'll happily part it out.  I just wanted to give you folks a crack at it before it goes off to e-pay.

Thanks.
Keith

Great price!  You'll make more parting it out, you know.

Yeah, I know.  I wish I could find someone who wants the machine intact.  But I really have to get rid of it because I don't have the room for it... not with another pinball machine coming in!!!

I'm inching closer and closer to parting out what I can, and then MAMEing the cabinet as an X-mas gift for some friends.

Ugh.  I need to finish my basement so I have room to put stuff like this.  Great price.  And I'm close enough.  But Christmas spending makes money a bit tight, and, like I said, no place to put it, yet..  *sigh*

Somebody buy it, then sell it for the same price down the road!  :D
