Quick Mala Question

Hi...

Ok, I got Mala working pretty much with all my emulators and I am learning more as I go through it. I just need to learn a few "tweaks" to make sure I have everything running properly. My question here is if I run Mame32 without using Mala, and have the filter set for "working games" it comes up with 5453 games. If I run Mame32 thru Mala, with the exact same filter, it shows 5125. Thats a 328 game difference. I just want to be sure that I am not missing any working games thru Mala. Can someone tell me why there is such a difference in games or what I should have this "setting" set at in Mala? Thank You

I have never used mame32 filters before so I don't know what data it uses.
Does it use catver.ini (Genre) & controls.ini (Controls) like MaLa does?

Please describe what filters you are using.
