I'm not sure if you're looking for a motorized way to rotate it.. if so, I'm not sure what the best mounting solution would be.

I have a 19" LCD in my mini upright and I rotate it manually (takes 30 seconds).
I used two mounting shelves for the monitor.. the higher one is removable and it's for the horizontal orientation.  Below that shelf, there's another shelf for the vertical orientation.  If this sounds like it would work for you, I can post pictures if you'd like.

How about a lazy suzan?

You could mount your LCD to a board, then mount that to a luzy susan.  Trouble is that you would need to make center of the lazy susan right behind the center of the screen..

Then you would want to limit so you cant just spin it indefinately.

That's exactly what I'm going to try Lilwolf.  Need to get to my folks house first where I saw a lazy susan in my dad's work shop.  I'm going to try it on a bartop cab, and the idea is to have a lever on the top that can be put in either the "vertical" or "horizontal" setting.  I'm just trying to figure out a way to do it without the lever sticking out too much and ruining the look of the cab.  Also trying to figure out how to get it to not interfere with the marquee lighting area.

I was thinking an idea like that also... but my monitor wouldn't rotate in the cab.. without taking it out.  The cab is only about 23 inches wide, so the monitor wouldn't rotate without taking it out.
