$20 Game Elements Console to VGA Adapter. Good?
« on: February 10, 2006, 05:43:14 pm »
I just noticed this on Ben's Bargains. Makes me wonder if it's time to put a cube or PS2 in my cabinet. Very cheap although it's 640x480 only. Has anyone used one of these? Any good?

Sorry about that. I learned that habit from people here.  ;)

It looks cleaner, but the links tend to hide.

sounds good so if anyone buys one please give us a review.
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.

Output quality is limited by input quality.  You can't improve a video signal with a magic black box.

If that device is using either RGB or Component output from the consoles, then it will be pretty good.  If however it's taking S-Video or worse, Composite output, the resulting picture will be a dog's breakfast with all horrible colour bleeding and whatnot.

You're going to have to track down a review somewhere, or take the plunge and try one for yourself to know for certain.
