Any interest? I'm not really trying to make a living off these, but if I can afford to buy another roll of vinyl thanks to sales, my beater autox/track car will appreciate it Smiley

The price is $1.45 ea. (specifically, 1 set = vinyl stickers for player 1 through player 4 on one piece of transfer tape), shipped to the United States. Will ship anywhere, assuming you will compensate for higher postage.

If you would like to order more than one at a time, see pricing below (all prices are for US shipping only):

1 set: $1.45 shipped
2 sets: $2.25 shipped
3 sets: $3 shipped

Currently have in stock:
5 white sets, 1 red set, 6 black sets

To apply these, just cut them apart from one another (seperate player 1 sticker from player 2, etc.). Clean the surface of the button with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry. Next, peel the backing paper off, align decal and apply with moderate pressure. Then remove transparent transfer tape slowly.

I prefer paypal but will accept other methods of payment (might be a little weird to deposit a $1.45 check, but whatever Wink ).

Please email me for fastest response at dage@pixelstorm.net with "Vinyl decals" in the subject.

I can also cut most shapes to about 250mm wide (9.84 inches) if you have something custom... please email me for pricing.

Thanks!
-mike

Did a test cut and it looks like I can whip these up, too:

based on:

I have only two available, both white. One is "weeded" and the other is raw off the cutter, meaning the buyer will have to peel the waste vinyl themselves (and save a few bucks at the same time).

This site: http://www.willyliliana.com/Mame%20Cabinet/Button%20Stickers.htm  has great directions, but if you do the full sheet, be prepared to spend around a half hour and end up with tired eyes and neck Smiley

Weeded sheet (with transfer tape): $10 shipped (USA). Unweeded (peel yourself and use your own tape): $6 shipped (USA)

Trying to determine if there is any demand for custom vinyl cuts, so I can always cut more sheets... though the price of weeded ones might have to go up a bit in the future for the full sheet, my eyes are killing me! Smiley

Thanks
mike

How to: Install your vinyl decals

Step 1) Confirm adhesion of the clear transfer tape on the vinyl decal. Use your finger to push down on it, or burnish with the smooth backside of your fingernail. This is to make sure the vinyl decal will lift off WITH the clear tape for application. This is how weeded decal sheets will arrive... cut in chunks so they fit in an envelope.

Step 2) Work in a clean environment

Step 3) Clean the the surface the decal is intended for. I use rubbing alcohol to remove grease or other contaminants... make sure to test whatever cleaner you are using on the surface to make sure it does not damage it. Do not use anything that will leave a waxy residue.

Step 4) Cut out the portion of the decal you wish to use

Step 5) Remove paper backing (try not to touch the sticker like I appear to be doing Wink)

Step 6) Align the decal and transfer tape over the target area

Step 7) Lightly apply the tranfer tape to the area, take a step back and make sure it's perfectly aligned, because once it's on, you will destroy the decal if you try to remove it.

Step Cool Once you're happy, press the sticker down like any other sticker

Step 9) I burnish the decal with my finger, then use the smooth face of my finger nail to make sure all the bits are pressed down and adhered well. Try not to gouge the the decal with your finger nail.

Step 10) Remove the clear transfer tape

Step 11) Er, not really a step, but all done Smiley

And this is why the weeded sheets are a lot more than not weeded sheets... That's a dime you might recognize there.. and those little bits of red are the waste pieces of vinyl individually picked off the transfer tape one by one.

I'd be interested in one of those complete (weeded) sets, although looks like its now gone... any more? I would also take a 1-4p, red set.

Can you do the complete sheet in red?

Will you post international (to the UK)?

what about these?  I took them from the forum (said free use), so it is not my work but would like to some printed.

The last pic, I was wondering if wording like that was possible.  ie player one, exit, start, credit and or custom wording.  I know I am asking a lot but you did ask if there was an interest and I am interesed Tongue

Hi, I have a lot of red, black, and white vinyl still, so I can cut these any time. I can do practically anything within reason in red/white/black, especially if you have an eps or ai file. JPG and GIFs require a lot of manual effort, and I can get you a price quote if you have a custom request.

And I have not shipped to the UK before, but I'm more than willing to. It looks like it will be an additional $0.75 added to the order for "Global Airmail Letter Post" which should take 4-7 days, according to the US Postal Service site.

I think starting feb 1, the pricing of the weeded sheets might have to go up to $10/per... it's really time consuming with these small decals and they appear to be more popular than the unweeded ones... but until then, I'll stick to the above price.

Thanks again
-mike

edit: PS, my responses may be spotty within 8am-5pm PST as these are my day job work hours... but I'll try to at least check in during lunch.

Thanks guys, a bunch of player decals are in the mail and headed out to you!

I am having a little set back with one of the huge sheets like what is posted in whatzcrackn's response. My machine is having trouble with a few of the smallest characters, as they are rather complex for their size. I should be able to tweak a lot of that sheet to make it work, but also I might have to move into selling portions of that sheet seperately, as the full sheet takes a very very very long time to cut and weed, so please stay tuned.

In the meantime, I have PLENTY of player 1-4 stickers available in red, white, and black. And I will continue to cut the smaller variety sheet as shown above in white (price will have to increase to $10 for the weeded version effective tomorrow, as it is taking a *huge* amount of time to weed these. But I will honor all $8 orders until feb 1, and they will be available in red, white or black as well.) The full sheet will require a little more experimentation to optimize it for my cutter though.

I've got a cutter also, and I find sometimes with those small cuts (I assume on the corners it pulling the vinyl up on you) if you can slow your cutter down, it sometimes helps.  Sometimes also if I lower the cutters pressure, and cut twice, it sometimes also helps.

Hope this helps out.

Ah, excellent glad you will post all over!

These things look great.

I don't have anything custom at the moment, but I'll bear it in mind. I'm mainly interested in that sheet you posted a pic of in your second post in this thread.

I'd be after say a set in white and one in red, preferably weeded. How much is that with UK postage?

Thanks!

Okay now for questions: Can you do instead of 1-4 player maybe 2 player 1's and 2 player 2's on a sheet? I don't make many 3/4 player panels...
Thanks!

I think the better solution to the "big sheet" problem is to separate them into small sheets.  The big ones have jukebox labels, DDR labels, convertible joystick labels, arcade labels... and are those Transformers icons?  The odds of someone actually needing all the labels on the sheet are pretty low.

I'd like to see, for example, a set JUST for jukebox labels (gee, wonder why)), a set for the common arcade icons, and then the special-purpose ones on sets of their own.

I would like to second this!  I think you have a great thing going here.  If I could buy a sheet that had arcade control specific items I would be in.  In particular I would be looking for labels for a lot of the admin buttons like coin up, exit, pause (see that in one of the sheets), etc.

I can't speak for Mike, but my guess is that he could accomodate those possibilities mentioned above.  You guys (or somebody) should come up with some 'smaller sheet' files and post them here to see if he can do them.

Many apologies for the lack of communication on this post, fellas! I've hardly had any time at all to browse anything on the web lately. The easiest way to get in touch with me is at dage@pixelstorm.net -- but I'll definitely make time to check this thread from now on.

Thanks for all the great comments, glad to know we are able to help eachother out here! Smiley

I'd like to see, for example, a set JUST for jukebox labels (gee, wonder why)), a set for the common arcade icons, and then the special-purpose ones on sets of their own.

This is exactly my plan... I'm waiting on a big shipment of new colors and I was going to revamp the entire thread with several options. So yeah, it's definitely coming, thanks for the comment!

If I could buy a sheet that had arcade control specific items I would be in.  In particular I would be looking for labels for a lot of the admin buttons like coin up, exit, pause (see that in one of the sheets), etc.

I will definitely get this done for you guys! No worries about having someone else put anything together, I'd end up rearranging everything anyway to maximize efficiency on my little plotter.

Purple wasn't on the list, but I'll see if the funds allow for it!

I'm investigating one more line of vinyl, as well as a local supplier (it seems to take forever and costs a bit to get it shipped directly from the manufacturer).

Other than that, I am expecting Blue/Green/Red/Pink/White/Black/Yellow and now, hopefully purple. Any other colors? I'll revamp the thread when stuff comes in with the new designs and everything.

Thanks!

Just an update, new vinyl has been shipped. I ended up adding purple to the list, so I hope a few more of you folks can use that color.

So to confirm, in about a week (or whenever it decides to arrive) I will stock:

White, black, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple.

I'll have all the new decal sets up before the vinyl arrives, as well.

Thanks folks!

Got the new colors in!

I have to chop down the yellow/orange/green/purple/blue as they are too big for my cutter, but it will have to wait until this weekend (can't run my saw at night here).

The diet pepsi/red happ button/dollar bill are there so you can reference them when judging the new actual shades of the new colors... tried to find some common objects around the house.
