What a middle of no where place to live.  If you lived in Tulsa, you would have nothing better to do then post on this forum.

I dated a girl from Tulsa. It was better than posting on this forum.

Who lives in Tulsa?  I need to park a truck and trailer at a safe place there in the next couple weeks for a few days.

Of course he knows know one else would live in OK and he likes it that way. It's easier for him to give directions to his house.

it's the last house on the right in Oklahoma.

I'll throw in a carrot...

If Stingray will come here, explain why he lives in TO, and increase his post count +1, I will purchase him a door pass for the 1984 arcade for one night of glorious fun.

Of course he must drive to Springfield, MO to use it, but it's not that far. :P

Hm.. cool. It's definitely been awhile since I've been to Springfield. I used to work at A&B Cycle downtown. Now I hear it's some crappy nightclub.

One of these days I need to get back there, there were some really great restaraunts downtown. Nonna's, Paul Revere's Pizza, there was a tiny walk-up mexican place that I used to love, too... can't remeber the name. There wasn't much to do in Springfield... but dang they had some good food.

Take your downtown memories and triple the places to do stuff. It is just plain booming.

1984 is worth every penny of $5 and then some. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.

The downtown scene changes daily - yes, A & B cycle is now some stupid nightclub, and that mexican place, well a guy a knew owned it and and to shut it down.  He told me it's hard to make any money in that area unless you are open late and sell alcohol.

As for 1984, well last night I had nothing to do so the wife and I went down there for an hour or so.  She even thought it was cool and trust me, she hates video games.  It is definately worth checking out if you are in the area.

Marias... that's what it was. I think the loss of A&B must have helped its demise. Somebody from the shop was there daily. Thank goodness for all the cycling... or we would have gotten a little big from all of that lard.
