When I first saw these threads I thought you guys were exaggerating. I thought it simply didn't live up to arcade quality standards, but that it couldn't possibly be that bad.
I apologize. It's worse than folks are making it out to be. The game is made out of 1/4" wood, poor at that. The screen is small and reminds me of a blown up portable television. The colors are washed out and no-existent. It's almost impossible to differentiate many enemies from one another, especially in Robotron and Defender.
The controls make Jakk TV units look good. Similiar joystick, but much more imprecise. The buttons are small reproductions of Jakk buttons, but again, inferior.
There is no such thing as a Marquee. It's merely a sticker on top of wood. The entire unit looks incredibly fake and cheesy.
It's a shame too. For $500, anyone here could put together a REAL machine with those games on it with money left over. These guys went for pure profit margin on a bargain basement item that they know isn't going to be around after the holiday season.
Pure Crap.
