FS/FA Byrdo Style Sanwa Joystick kits [NOR -CAL]
« on: August 21, 2005, 03:44:29 am »
Hey guys,
Trying to get rid of the remaining stock of these kits.
Some on ebay, and I am willing to sell outside of ebay as well.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8213523679&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

I also have these cut from black melamine.

The button layout is pictured on the auction.

No pics of the black unit assembled. I'll try to get a few later this week.

Not yet... Getting paint and floors done in my house, so the wife has been carefully monitoring the "arcade time".

The "BlackByrd"

I know... It's just for demonstration purposes...

Envision the bare edges grooved, with T-molding installed.
Only thing that isn't great is the bare 1/4" thick wood bottom. I suppose that could be painted pretty easily though.

Is there any options to use other sticks instead of the Sanwa's? I likethe Sanwa sticks as mentioned before in plenty of threads, but they are hard to find from places other than overseas.

Does that mean that they will come with the T-molding slots pre-cut?  If so put me down for 6.

T molding grooves will be included in the price of the box.
Precut lexan is not included with the black melamine boxes.

No lexan?  But then how do you secure the buttons into the control panel?  I can see useing screw in buttons for the big buttons but the start and select buttons only come in the clip in variety which requires lexan in order to securly mount them.  I'd be willing to pay a few extra dollars if it meant I could get the lexan.
