I returned home yesterday from work to find my Arcade Monitor (Betson 27") had no picture, and was exhibiting a constant click click noise. The light on the control board was on indicating power was supplied. This was after 4-5 months of having the monitor function fine.
Doing a Google I noticed the reviewer at retrogames had a similar issue. I called Betson and they were nice enough to say if I sent the boards in they could repair it and send it back in a day or so.
My issue is I am not sure how to go about removing the boards, and am concerned about receiving a 60,000 volt shock by doing something stupid. Does anyone have information on the steps to do this with this particular monitor.
The monitor did not ship with any information etc. All I had left to do on the arcade was get a good marquee and sideart printed, and install my home made speaker grills. What terrible timing.
Appreciate any help provided.
