  • HAH! Nice one!
    • A lifelong project
The former Clinton administration official previously acknowledged he removed from the National Archives copies of documents about the government's anti-terror efforts and notes that he took on those documents. He said he was reviewing the materials to help determine which Clinton administration documents to provide to the independent commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

He called the episode "an honest mistake," and denied criminal wrongdoing.

So the CIA gives information to the President, it agrees with everyone else's intelligence reports, and these are all classified as lies.

What would Sandy Berger's actions be classified as?  Destruction of previous lies?  Package enhancement?  Too "small" for his own britches?  Wearing poorly sized Dockers?

"FBI agents searched his home and office after he voluntarily returned some documents. But some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Clinton administration's handling of al-Qaida terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration were found to be missing."

.....

"Berger also has acknowledged that he destroyed some documents, but he insists it was by accident.

"I deeply regret the sloppiness involved, but I had no intention of withholding documents from the commission, and to the contrary, to my knowledge, every document requested by the commission from the Clinton administration was produced," Berger said in a statement last summer."

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight Sandy  ::)  EVERYONE routinely stuffs confidential government documents down their pants with the purest of motives in mind.  In fact, that's what they were doing in the Watergate hotel long ago.  They were searching for documents stuffed down the pants of people who were honestly looking to do the right thing.  Had they simply went into the rooms one-by-one and upon finding them, stuffed them down THEIR pants and left with them, there wouldn't have been the big to-do about all that stuff.

How are you qualified to be a National Security Advisor if you think stuffing documents down your pants is kosher?  Cripes, school kids stealing answers for a test act with more discretion!
