Hi All,
I have a Sega Virtua Racing Deluxe cabinet (the sitdown with the big red plastic moldings and the air bags in the seat). It can be seen by taking the link at the bottom of
www.keinert.com (My Collection). It uses a special wide screen NANAO display. Sega P/N 200-5240. A problem has recently occurred. When I power the game on, occasionally the monitor is dead. Upon inspection, I have found that sometimes the relay on the "PCB-POWER" board does not energize. When this happens, I have no buzzing of the flyback and no picture on the display. If I cycle power, sometimes the relay will energize (in which case the monitor works fine) and sometimes it does not energize (dead monitor). I have no schematics for this board (NANAO P/N 05A00516B1) but I'm guessing that the relay energizes only when all correct voltages are present on the board and that it energizes to allow these voltages to leave the PCB-POWER board and supply power to the rest of the monitor's circuitry??? If so, the relay is probably OK and my problem is that the voltages are not always coming up properly on the PCB-POWER board as they should. My questions are:
1) Does anyone have any experience with the VR Deluxe monitor?
2) Anyone have a phone number or website for NANAO?
3) Anyone have the schematics?
Thanks for your time, Kevin.
