Auto start ROM with GroovyArcade
« on: April 25, 2023, 04:46:05 pm »
Just wondering what needs to be done to make a game auto boot at start up.

I added mame kinst to my bashrc file that calls attract mode, the system boots, and I can hear the game in the back ground, but I’m stuck with the GroovyArcade splash screen.

Is there somewhere else I need to put this command?

The way I do it is I have attractmode always launch the last played game on startup, it's in the attractmode options.

That's because the splash screen is killed by starting the frontend

If you want this to always be the same game, set attributes for attract.am to read only.
Check out my completed projects!
