A-PAC Driving Games
« on: June 10, 2021, 09:12:10 pm »
I don't know if it is the place to be posting this as it could be in console, Arcade 1Up.

I want to reuse my 1Up Star Wars Sit down cab as a racing cab.  I figure if I can play Spy Hunter and Stun Runner, I can play some Forza or F1.  I have the A-PC and HDMI attached to my gaming PC.  I have a spare joystick for a shifter and use triggers for acceleration and braking.

I tried racing games in VR and while it is immersive, I lose the controls from time to time.  So VR is out.

Am I wasting my time or has anyone else achieved this?

I have Star Wars Battle Pod running on the cab, so how hard can it be?

Would you be so kind to post a pic of the internal of that "cabinet"? This way we can see what is there inside and suggest an approach to the "convertion"

Yes you can. I have tons of racers on my Star Wars cab but I didn't use an A-pac. There is a slight dead zone that affects some games more so than others.
