FS - Cherry Microswitches with actuator for joysticks
« on: February 03, 2004, 06:48:33 am »
I needed a few replacement cherry microswitches with actuator levers for my Happ Super joysticks. The only cost effective way to buy them was in a bag of 10 from Bob Roberts for $18. Ordering just 1 microswitch would have cost $12 from Bob. Normally I'd just keep the extra switches, but my wife got sick of my buying "one last thing" for my arcade project, so I convinced her that I could sell the extra microswitches and make my money back. That's the only way the CFO would sign off on the purchase.

So... I have 6 microswitches for sale at $3.00 each (that includes shipping). 6x3 = 18. See honey -  I made my money back! Email me at jagnogg@yahoo.com. I'll accept paypal, check or money order.

Is there any benefit to this type of microswitch?  How does this differ from the ones that come with happs joysticks normally?Just curious :)

For the most part you can only use them where they were origanelly used. Its not an upgrade its usually for replacing worn or broken switches.
My statements are my own opinions. They have the value that the reader gives them. My opinion of my opinion varies between foolish and brilliant and these opinions often change with new information.

These are just replacements. They aren't any better than the ones that came with my joysticks. When I was building / reconfiguring my two cabinets I somehow managed to break one and lose another, that's why I ordered them.
