How do I setup a custom resolution in GroovyArcade?
« on: October 23, 2016, 07:42:51 am »
I have a WG D9200 monitor in my cab.  All games work perfectly apart from a few vertical games like Frogger, Flying Shark, Twin Cobra.  The frequency chosen doesn't sync properly and the game is unplayable.

How can I set GA to force a specific resolution?

TIA

It's a better idea to tweak that monitor preset in order to avoid the non-working frequency from being used.

Anyway, you basically have two options, assuming your in Linux (GA):

- Set a specific resolution in game.ini (-resolution 320x224@60)
- Set a specific modeline in game.ini (-modeline ... ... . ..)

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
