Somebody had to go first - DWJukebox on Windows 8
« on: November 13, 2012, 04:28:41 pm »
Windows 8 is a mixed bag for DWJukebox

It will not run full screen.  It runs sluggishly and the music does not play except in fits.  Not good BUT
With some effort and skinning knowledge, you can get it to look good in a window that is slightly larger than the size of the screen.
When run in a window, touchscreen operation is possible BUT......
Touches are only recognized when done as a 'tap-tap', and still missed occasionall BUT.....
Swipes are recognized as touches about 100% of the time

After a lot of trial and error, here's a demo of my own RadioJuk screen tweaked for Windows 8 touchscreen, and a CD based skin that I've modified to fit and added a coin drop icon and some sounds.
