Keystroke issue
« on: July 08, 2011, 06:21:15 am »
Hi all, after searching around I found this topic http://maximusarcade.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1121&start=30 which seems similair to my issue.

Everytime I start a MAME game that produces an error, "xxxxx.chd NOT FOUND", black screen etc., MA (2.10) won't register any keystrokes when back in the MA menues again - restarting MA does not help, to power off/on the PC is the only solution I found so far.

As I have the Ipac programmed on the fly I thought something went wrong there when returning back to the menues, but if I open Notepad I can see it's still programmed correctly, it's just MA not registering the keystrokes (same with the USB keyboard).

If I skip the Ipac programming when opening/closing the emulators the issue does not occour, but that mean I can only use one Ipac layout which is bad.

Does anyone know a solution or a workaround?

Many thanks.

Edit:

Two more examples I just found:
