PS1 emulator issue
«
on:

Hi Guys, I've just got a nice mortal kombat cab up and running using maximus arcade as my frontend. I have MAME, gameboy and Sega Master System all running fine. I have a PS1 emulator that runs fine when launched outside of MA. When i launch PS1 using MA, it launches and plays fine for about 30 seconds. After this time it closes and goes back to my frontend. I suspect it is a setting wrong with MA. Anyone encountered this before or have any ideas about what may be playing up.
Cheers.

I use epsxe 1.7 and it seems to work fine with MA.
Which one are you using?

Ok, I've downloaded epsxe 1.7. it works fine outside if MA. But when i try to launch in MA it just loads up the epsxe window and doesn't actually load games or go full screen. All u get is the little blue epsxe screen up the top right of the screen. Anyone experienced this issue?

I've tried the -f i had for psx, i tried it blank, i tried -nogui -loadbin %file which i read on this forum. All result in the same outcome. Is there one command line that it should be or are there many that will work?

Thanks Delusional, it now launches games in MA. BUT the games crash after about a minute.
So now it's the same problem i was having with psx. This points to a setting in MA itself and not the emulators! Any ideas as to why this is so?

So it doesn't crash outside of MA?
What game are you trying to run and what are your settings? I'll double-check mine too. epsxe is kind of tricky and I finally got it to work properly after some trial and error tweaking.

Yes all games work outside of MA and none work in MA. Games are crash bandicoots, spyro's and tony hawks 1. The settings are
command -nogui -loadbin %file
window normal
path to short
loading screen display 0
show loading screen when launch ticked
These are the settings i'm runing.
