Jukebox Designs

Well im bored and at work so i though id post some examples of "cases" for jukeboxes

First is:
http://www.adecmusic.com/Power/full_size_jukeboxes.htm

I like the thinman looks cool and thats a good idea the KW610 with the keyboard folding down like that (well i think it does if not still agood idea to hide a keyboard in plain sight :) )

Also here are a few pics from websites:

And this guy might of been the first 4 the pc jukebox i think

Also theres a few things you could use for your jukebox as affects or decorations i guess u can call em

Thoese mirror things where the lights whine and when u look in it looks like there is millings of lights in a row.

These are like $10 at the cheap-o shops or the reject shop for you aussies :)

the rope light of course is handy and there are balls that light on and of at a slow pace u could use these they r just a white ball with diff colours :) could even add the Dance circuit to them for it to flash to the beat etc.

Also 1 thing that i have thought of for my jukebox is thoese pipes that curves around on the jukebox that most people have seen.
(http://americanhistory.si.edu/notkid/images/jukebox.jpg these kinda 1's)

What u do is buy that clear or semi clear PVC piping or you buy big rubber hose pipe (this option is better) then u can easily ben it ad the top and then u can either paint the inside in a semi white paint or frost look then slide 4 or 5 rope lights in it so it colour ups and flashes and you have a pretty good looking juke box :D

i have WAY more ideas but i'll stop yappin now :)

I actually had the very same idea for my jukebox, but I had to abandon it as I couldn't find a big enough hose.  Later I found out that this company http://www.victoryglass.com/victoryframe.asp makes reproduction parts for the old jukeboxes including the bubble tubes.  My jukebox is built in a smaller scale than the original so unfortunately I couldn't use them.  :P

Thats true i guess you could tie all the rope lights together so u make a big rope light then use it to bend

But u can buy the huge clear tubes u know how they have the white tubes for toilets and the sink etc.

Well you can but clear and semi clear versions of them (semi clear would be best) arnt at many hardware stores (some but why would they stock clear if its used for the toilet plumbing  :-X)

You could go with the square look instead of the domed top and have it with 2 poles on each side then 1 at the to give u a square look it might work as the monitor is square?

wish it wasnt so hard 2 find a old jukebox and if u do the broken 1's cost 2 much :( be easy 2 fix but still  :'(

Im still on the lookout 4 a wierd but cool case 4 a jukebox want it to look totally original

I do like that yellow pacman stand arcade 1 :D

you could mod that baby bubbler wurlitzer makes (though it is rather $$$$) or just rip off the bubbly pieces...
Would it be hard to make your own with maybe some bubble-action machine from Spencers(they have tons of that kind of stuff) and some color changing LED's? hmm....sounds like a project...

Those would be fine as long as you don't need a curved top....

Thats the problem no curved top :(

What would really look cool would be the tubes like lava lamps that look sick :D

but the tube would be to big and it woudlnt float to the top :(

You could try them long tubes that have the water but instead of bubbles they have the glitter stuff and a lil motor spins at the base which makes them swirl around liek a tornado :D that be cool or even the bubble 1's and leave them fake fish in em and watch them fot up n down hehe

still there is a cheap perfect case for a jukebox out there just havent found it :(
