Need help identifying a font.
« on: April 16, 2003, 11:28:27 pm »
I'm starting my marquee and need help identifying the font I want to use. It is on the www.scottishninjas.com site. The front emblem is surrounded by a quazi-japanese font that says "Scottish Ninjas". Does anyone recognize this font? ???

Wow Toasty. That was impressive and fast. How about identifying the Retrogames font I've been trying to locate for 2 years or so....?

www.retrogames.com

I'm guessing some of the logo is designed with reversed letters IE the t is obviously an r and the g is an e etc. But what font? Hmmmmmm. I've gotten no response from them. It's similar to PHAT but not exact. Any help? I can do the extrusion and texturing if I can just find the type....

Hmmm...  A bit tougher, but I'll see what I can come up with.

I've got the Adobe Font Folio for my wife who is a graphic design major.  There are seriously WAY too many fonts to go through, though, and even with Adobe Type Manager there is no quick way to go through them all quickly.  No way that I know of anyway.  I'd love to be proven wrong on that.

WHile we're on fonts here, does anyone have a match for the Tempest marquee? Imagica is as close as I've seen, and since it's not for an exact replica it may be good enough

The real one is a bit more squared off, and I could probably edit it to my needs but if theres a font out there , why the heck not use it?
