I have one that I got for free.  My kids liking pumping the tokens in and hitting payout more than actually playing.  I think it's totally boring.
Most of my guests don't even bother playing, if they do, it's usually less than a minute. 
I think Howard said the thrill is gone because it's not real money, that's true in this case.
I also have a real Video Poker that gets some use, but I tell people it's for real.  It takes quarters and paper money, and if they lose, oh well  

  But if they win, I pay.  It gets alot of play when I host the neihborhood poker games.  I've never had to pay the $1000 prize  

, but I have paid $100. 
BTW, if they really want to play for free (like my mom), then that's ok too.
