Blue T-molding?
« on: May 03, 2004, 07:39:46 pm »
Anyone have a source for a dark blue T-molding?  All that www.t-molding.com offers is a light blue.

Haven't come up with anything concrete on Google.  Some obscure places that list a blue, but nothing that I can see a pic of.

Anyone had any luck using vinyl dye to change the color of their molding?

If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.

I know -  I can't believe it's so hard to find DARK blue.

I got mine from arcadeshop.com, and it looks really good.  It took two rolls to cover mine (they just say that one roll is enough to cover "one game", so measure how much you need and ask).

I wanted dark blue but settled for light-blue. I guess I should've posted first! I didn't realize that it was available anywhere. Oh well.

The light blue isn't terribly light. It's more of a medium blue and looks great on a black cab. I'm not sure why they call it light blue in the first place.

I bought 11/16" blue T-moulding from Outwater Plastics (250ft).  It matches the Wilsonart Lapis Blue laminate perfectly.  I would say it a darker blue.  Here is a picture.

That place is awesome (hopefully)!  That's the first place I've seen 5/8" t-molding in any color other than black or nintendo white.  And it's cheaper than t-molding.com.  Might have to give it a shot.

Thanks for the link!
