Identify this cabinet?
« on: December 29, 2003, 11:37:25 am »
Can anyone identify this cabinet?  I was looking for an Astro City or Egret, and I found this.  The guy said he thought it was Korean, but I don't think he knew for sure.

It's one of those Japanese Candy sitdown cabinets.

It's not actually a Neo Candy cab.  It's similar, but not quite.  Here is a picuter of the candy cab:

and here is the Super Neo Candy:

Notice the coin slot is in a different place.

Actually their are many more neo sitdowns than that. I happen to love japanease sit down cabs and have an egret of my own. Thats is not neo because neo cabs have the buttons laid out in a horizontal line. I do believe that is a cab made in china by the republic manufacturers. Its hard to say for sure cause they have made many models over the years and other companies in japan still make thease. As long as it has a good jamma harness i would go for it. If you have your heart set on a egret PM me and ill send ya an e-mail to the guy i bought mine from he may still have more.

I am about to buy an Astro City, but might also be interested in an Egret.  Where did you get it (and for how much?).  The key for me is location.  I live in MD and it's costing me $180 to ship from the west coast.

Thanks.
