I need that my SCART TV automatically switches to aux1 when it receives input from my ArcadeVGA. Somebody told me that I need to take 9v or maybe 12v to pin 8 on the SCART connector. One possibility would be to get 9v from pin 9 on the VGA connector. I've been testing my connector and it seems than non of the cables that remain unconnected correspond to pin 9 in the vga connector. Actually, I've seen diagrams on the vga connectors and they say no-connect for pin 9, so I guess this pin is not connected at all, so there's not any cable from pin 9 on the vga connector that goes along the cable to the other end. Right? Then, should I discard the possibility of getting 5v through the cable? Considering the other alternative, getting 12v from the cpu connector, what do I have to connect exactly? Just one cable from the yellow connector to pin 8 in the scart? Will I need any other cable? I think this site has the information but I'm totally new to electronics, so I can't figure out what I have to do.
