T-Molding - Newbie

I know this has been covered but I cant seem to find it.

I am building a console and need t-molding around the edges of my console.  Questions.

How does one make the groove in the particle board? I tried my Dremel on a sample and it takes way too long and the line is not consistent.

Did you read the FAQ thread that is sticky'd at the top of the board

A router and a slot cutting but.
