I saw this at buy.com I remember someone using something similar for a light gun years ago.  It looks smaller and looks like it could be put inside a gun shell. Also its 29.99 after google check out

It will really depend on what movements affect the pointer.  And how precise.  I think you really need to see this mouse in action.   Most videos are blocked by my work's firewall :(

Not sure that is going to work. How can you calibrate them?
