i have a wingman joystick.
The joystick has a standard gameport male end.
And an adaptor that is female gameport -> USB
The joystick works fine in the USB port.
Does any one have any ideas (or software) so i can use a regular gamepad with the gameport -> USB in the USB slot
(I want to do this because i have no joystick port)

Please clarify, it sounded like you got got it to work? or do you have a gamepad AND joystick? If so what brands?
You may just have to buy a USB pad. Can get them cheap at justdeals.com or compgeeks.com.
