Firstly all I really had was spray paint, which isn't noticable except for the large back panel, everything else looks quite nice IMO.

Top half of back

Bottom half...

Coin door area

I removed all of the coin door parts and painted it over completely as well as cleaned the doors themselves.  Also before someone asks, yes there are no locks yet. they are on order from happs along with some tokens for fun ;)

Here is a shot of the monitor and overhang of the marquee.  The overhang witht he speaker holes was also repainted.  Glass removed and thuroughly cleaned on both sides and the monitor.

Here is a side shot of the CP for closer view

Also a note in the 'after' pictures. on the back pic there what appears to be a splash look. honestly not sure what that is because when standing there in person it doesnt show up

Well thats all there is. in the process of moving so won't be doing much "follow-up" work on this aside from installing the locks.  Anyways, lemme know what ya'll think.

you can tell from the pictures of the back that you didn't actually try to fill in the parts where the paint was missing prior to spraying, or even sand the areas down.  Before you get to rolling the next coat, try and sand around where there's lumps in the paint - try to get a smooth transition between the sections that have the single spray paint layer and the areas that have the spray and original paint.  This will ensure the whole panel looks smooth.

Good job so far.

nice work so far.  that is definently one of my top 3 favorite arcade games of all time along with mortal kombat 2 and Ironman Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road.  How much did you buy it for?  Are you going to be replacing/fixing the sideart eventually?

Plus the game was set to 1 coin=2 lives. so thats a lot of gaming!! :)  and we can assume the other door had the same amount. gonna ask the guy.

Is it possible that the one counter is used for all 4 coin drops?  You could trip the coin switches on each, and see.

Though 130k is believable even for one of the doors.  My VR Twin has 175k on one side and 185k on the other!!!

Well little update.  door locks arrived, got them installed with just minor tinkering.  However the coin mechs are being stubborn, trying to get .984 tokens in them, which the label said they could do w/o modification.  But coins get stuck on 2 of the 4 -_-  Guess I got to get it just right.
