retropie and IPAC2 troubles getting player 2
« on: June 24, 2016, 04:53:53 pm »
I'm having some troubles getting my player2 setup. Retropie recognizes my IPAC2 as a single controller. When I setup player 1 it works fine but then I setup player two and it gets rid of player one. I watched a couple of videos on how to go into retroarch and try to fix it from there. The problem I'm running into is configuring both players without getting rid of one the other players.

Ok, I think I found a solution to my problem. Was browsing through the menus on RetroPie and went to retroarch. Under retroarch I went to settings then input. I notice player 2 and nothing in it. I'll keep you guys updated.

I always use a text editor with mine.  I'm only using a single player setup at the moment.  But exit out to command line and press all the buttons,  just confirm all your buttons are working.  They will come up with letters that represent a key press.  Make a note of which ones are which,  it will help you setup retroarch
