I picked up this latest project from a local... it has a bit of a history... at one time it was the infamous Foxen's Spy Hunter and it's likely the boardset inside is the boardset that was stolen by Foxen from Mark Spaeth.  For that reason alone I almost passed on it... but (A) the cab was sold to a different local (Jeremy) along with 3 or 4 other games (including the Turbo Outrun that Foxen basically bullshitted his way in to from me)... making me the 2nd owner since Foxen and (B) There is no way I can tell for sure this is the boardset from Mark or not...as Foxen had tried selling a "complete working Spy Hunter boardset" on craigslist shortly after he stole one from Mark... I decided to pull the trigger.   The $180 price tag wasn't bad either.
The cab itself is in decent enough shape... I wll be needing to get new side art,  but once cleaned up,  she should be fine...

The monitor that came with the cab is a K7000 19" with some pretty noticeable After Burner burn-in... it also doesn't display RED so it will be needing a rebuild.  I just happened to have a Wells Gardner K7300 on the shelf I picked up recently as a "back up"... it should look good in the cab...

The cab has been converted to work with a switcher... at least it wasn't hacked up,  but rather converted with class... using a Wizzy's Workshop switcher adapter...

I've already purchased the proper NVRAM to eliminate the battery on the adapter... I hate batteries... I should have it in my hot little hands in a week or so at the most.  I'm just trying to find time to actually work on the cab... with the baby in the house it's difficult.
I also have a "pop" problem with the audio/lights.  When a light comes on (machine guns/oil slick/etc)... I get a very loud "pop"... and when they switch off I also get a (not quite so loud) pop.  I was told to try to replace the caps on the light driver board...
