CHDs?

I see rom torrentz then I see CHDs. What is CHDs? and when you have them where you put them?

CHD's are hard drive images which some games require and used such as Area 51, Carevil, Gauntlet Legends, Killer Instinct, etc.  I believe they are mostly videos which is why some CHD images are so big.

Generally a CHD will be put in a rom-named folder in the mame roms folder. You don't want to zip or rar them up, because then MAME will have to spend time re-extracting them every time you run the game.
