I plugged in the power cord, VGA cable, and USB cable and installed the drivers on my PC using a different monitor. When I turn on the power to the touchscreen, I just get a blue message stating "No Video Input. Please check cable".
afaik most touchscreen operate fine as a normal monitor if their touchscreen usb or serial is not plugged in.
I'm a bit confused, does the LCD screen itself work or not? In one statement you say it doesnt and in your last statement you say it does. Having the LCD working is only half the battle. So, does the LCD part of the screen work or not? Do you see windows boot up? If the LCD works, then we will work on the touchscreen overlay part of it. The VGA is only for the LCD part of it. The USB is for the touchscreen overlay.Fordman
