Layout questions and problems.

Hi all,

I've been searching through here but can't find anything that's helped,  and I have a couple questions.

I'm running Mala 1.05

The layouts I'm using are Zebra's "Everything" pack (Incredible work btw,  if you happen to read this)

My major problem is this:  I'm currently using a 22" LCD with a native res of 1680x1050.  The screenshots run off the bottom of the display,  as do the control panels in the Mame section,  additionally things don't line up in some layouts,  like Genesis where the game selected doesn't fall in the highlighted area.  I know this is due to scaling,  and I made sure "Fixed display" is off through layout.exe.  Is there any way to fix this or work around it?

My other question is,  in the Mame layout,  the cabinet doesn't show,  only the marquee and control panel.  I don't have any videos installed,  would this cause Mala to ignore that section of the layout?  So if I find videos it'll put it in?  I know it's kinda a lame question,  I just figured that since I was already starting a topic I might as well throw it in before D/ling the vids,  as they're not "Must have" for me.  But if that's what I need to get that section working,  I'll do it.

sounds like they are fixed layouts, open them in malalayout and make them not fixed
