Neo Geo cab

Hey just picked up a neo geo cab off craigslist last night and I diidn't have much time to look at it, and i don't know anything about them, how does the cp lift up so you can change out games. I didn't see a lock and the cp is hinged but i did not se a way to get it to lift up, do you have to unlock it from inside the machine somehow?

Btw this is the cab I paid $225 is that a good deal for neo geo, it came with Kof

I don't have one myself (although I would love to change that), but I'm sure you have to open the coin door to open the CP.  There's no way SNK would have sold any of those machines if someone could have just walked up, opened the CP, taken the cart, and walked off.

Open the coin door and reach up to the left and right and undo the latches.

as far as it being a good deal, that depends on a lot of things.
how many slots for games on the motherboard? I'm guessing 1.
does everything work?
which version of KOF?
what kind of shape is it in?  it's hard to tell going by just the picture.

by no means would i say you got gipped, but there are a few things you gotta take into account.

Well i wish i had a key for the coin door, i will have to take the lock off. I hope i got a good deal, Cab is in pretty good shape I am gonna replace all the buttons and joysticks, i have the buttons (any suggestions on joysticks for this?) and the monitor is a 25" and it is in great shape, maybe even new.  The pic above is one just like mine but not mine.

For the joysticks, I'd say Happ Competition or Supers.

Sticky buttons, i guess maybe you can clean them, but i have some. and I dont like one joystick that was put on the cab the other one is good.
