Control Panel help.
« on: October 19, 2009, 01:42:49 pm »
I have a Tekken 4 machine in a Blue capcom Dynamo cab with the following issue. When ever I push up on the joystick, whether it's the 1p or 2p side BOTH characters move up. This issue only happens when pressing up, all other functions work properly. I swapped out PCBs and its the same issue. I inspected both micro switches and they are NOT connected to each other in any way. The edge connector for the Jamma harness looks fine as well....Any ideas?

Occam's Razor - there's got to be a bridge somewhere.  Double check the wiring again.

That would be fine. Grounds are all connected anyway.  No, it's got to be something else.

Here's the JAMMA pinout

Check your harness carefully.
