For sale: jrok rgb to ntsc converter
« on: July 10, 2003, 12:29:13 am »
converts rgb signal coming from an arcade board into composite NTSC video or S-Video.  It allows you to plug a Video arcade game board into a regular TV receiver that accepts video, or S-Video input, in the NTSC encoding format.  It's ideal for connecting standard resolution JAMMA arcade games to a TV.

See www.jrok.com for full details.

I used it for a Boomer Rang'r pcb board in my cocktail cabinet.   I ran it into an ATI video card in my pc then out to my vga monitor.  Worked great.

I don't know how much something like this is worth.  I couldn't find a price on the site.  I would give $15 for it.

I'm not sure but I think they are worth more than that.

I wanted to buy an rca to vga converter and it was around $100.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the price jrok charges.  At least when I bought it a little less than a year ago, it was $75 new.  Since I no longer have a use for it, and my video cabinet building days are over (sure, I say that now), I wanted to offer it to someone in this community since it is a pretty handy gadget.  As far as the price, now knowing what jrok charges for a new one, offer what you think is reasonable.  I'm pretty easy on this stuff.  I'll be happy just knowing it's going to someone on this forum.

Oh sorry I really had no idea about the price.  Didn't mean to lowball you there. ;)

I guess I cant really afford it then.  Oh well.
