Possible buy
« on: August 05, 2009, 08:28:19 pm »
Its bottom of the ninth and he sais everything is in excellent condition.

So its only 100 bucks and maybe 30 minute drive I believe the cabinet alone is worth 100 bucks.  The only thing I'm worried about are the dimensions of the cabinet I can't find the dimensions anywhere on the net for it but the guy did tell me he thinks it mite have been converted from another game.

That particular game was notorious for being a conversion kit.
That one definitely is...... looks like an Atari cabinet.
Need to figure out what it was originally, then you may find some dimensions.

He gave me the total height and all that and their all pretty generic dimensions so I should be fine with that.  I've checked out an original cab of it and the shape is almost the same with the controls and such so I'm assuming it mite be original with new side art?  Well regardless I'm picking it up tonight after work.

Pretty sure that's a conversion.  Curious why he didn't send pictures of the front.

Definitely an Atari cab, hard to tell for sure if it's a Space Duel because of the crappy pic, but look at the game behind it.

There were a few more pictures, it was on craigslist so those were the photos but I believe the only other pictures were of the monitor I'll check tho... Only this other one now that I look back at it...

If you're worried about Dimensions look up Space Duel.  That is definitely an Atari cab and all of the Atari games of that type are pretty much the same size.

I'd sure like to see that one then.  ;)

If you were looking at KLOV, that's a Dynamo cut corner cab.
Google brings up conversion after conversion.

That's an Atari cab.

But either way, if the price is right for ya and it'll work out for what you want, go for it.
Keep in mind that'll have a 19" monitor. (to some it matters)

I'll just use that as a spare/replacement for another cab.  I'm going to take that out and throw a 25" in it.
